Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed (I Cor 15:51)
A Urgent Call to the Body of Christ
We are living in one of the most critical moments in human history. Confusion, lawlessness, and moral decline have gripped our world at an unprecedented level, and yet many in the church are simply drifting through the days, unaware of the urgency of the hour. This is not a time for spiritual complacency. As believers, we have been given a divine mandate to occupy — to remain vigilant, active, and purposeful — until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The future is not something to fear; it is something to prepare for.
At the heart of that preparation is the renewal of the mind. The world bombards us daily with distractions carefully designed to pull us away from our God-given purpose. Social media, entertainment, political noise, and the pressures of everyday life all compete for our attention. But the Word of God must take center stage in our lives. This is the season for warriors — men and women of faith who are disciplined, hungry, and spiritually sharp. Passive Christianity will not be enough for what lies ahead. It is time to rise up, dig deep into Scripture, and let the Word of God consume every area of your life.
One of the most powerful and often overlooked keys to spiritual readiness is learning how to redeem the time. Many believers feel overwhelmed and stretched thin by the demands of life, but when we intentionally sow our time back into the Kingdom — through prayer, meditation, and the study of God’s Word — something supernatural happens. God, in His faithfulness, provides an extraordinary efficiency that stretches and multiplies the remaining hours of our day. When we put His Kingdom first, we discover that He expands our capacity, sharpens our focus, and aligns our hearts with His eternal purpose.
Spiritual readiness is also deeply connected to unity within the body of Christ. The division, anger, and hostility that we see tearing apart our nation cannot be healed by politics or social programs alone — healing must begin in the church. We are called to pray for revelation knowledge, to walk in love toward one another, and to demonstrate the raw power of God through signs and wonders. A divided church cannot effectively reach a broken world. When believers come together in agreement and faith, the atmosphere shifts and souls are saved.
Now is the time to build your faith and build your ark. Just as Noah prepared in faith for what was coming — even when others mocked and doubted — we too must make intentional preparations for the return of Christ. That means investing in your prayer life, getting serious about soul-winning, staying rooted in a community of believers, and refusing to let the spirit of fear or discouragement keep you sidelined. Revival is not just coming — it is already breaking out in the hearts of those who are hungry enough to seek it.
The future belongs to those who are prepared. As the body of Christ, we have everything we need to not only survive these times but to thrive and advance the Kingdom in the midst of them. Let this be your wake-up call. Commit to the Word, redeem your time, pursue unity, and keep your eyes fixed on the One who holds tomorrow in His hands. When the Lord returns, may He find you faithful, fruitful, and fully occupied in His work.
Thoughts to ponder—The clock is ticking, the signs are everywhere, and the question that every believer must honestly answer is this — if Jesus returned today, would He find you ready? For more on this subject, click on the link below. God bless.
