Staying Persistant.

How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

My story starts when I finished my 4 year term in the Navy and starting looking for a job in the civilian world. I was told by friends and family members to stay but I was ready for a new challenge. It was during that time that I worked different jobs including driving a cab.

Life was tough, but my faith in God was steadfast. One day, there was a chance to apply at Verizon and I got hired. 21 years later, I retired from the company. When life gives you a lemon, you make lemonade and make the best of it. Soon, life will change for the better, so don’t give up. Stay motivated, pray and believe for a miracle.
