The land of milk and honey.

And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. (Exodus 3:8)

The land of Milk and honey. It has a nice ring to those words. After years of cruel servitude and afflictions, God was going to lead his people to that wonderful land. His people found it hard to believe, especially since it was occupied by Giants. They were used to being afflicted. Maybe their biblical teachings might have been perverted by the Egyptians, telling them that this was their lot and they had better get used to it. Their minds needed to be changed to a different pattern of thinking.

God has, also, given us a land of milk and honey. The word says that God has given us all things that pertain unto life through Christ Jesus. (2 Peter 1:3) All that you ever going to need is provided through the knowledge of God’s word. Knowing what God’s word says about your situation is key. We live in a fallen world and it is filled with afflictions. When you are born-again and serving God, YOU will have many afflictions! On the other hand, we are destined for victory. God has a way of delivering us from many afflictions. ( Ps 34:19)

Think of it this way, In a war, there are many battles. There are two sides and one will come out the victor. To the victor go the spoils. What are spoils? Those are rewards that have been won in a war, such as Slaves, Gold, Silver, etc. The gospel is good news! Jesus has won the victory and the enemy has been defeated. He has spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly. (Col 2:15) The victory has been achieved in the spirit realm

So, why do we struggle with our problems? The reason is that there is a fight of faith and that struggle is with our minds. When you are born-again and living right, Satan has no power over you spiritually speaking, but he attacks the mind. The mental realm is where he launches his attacks, but God has given us a tool to fight back and that is the mind of Christ. ( I Cor 2:16)

When you exercise your faith to develop the mind of Christ in your life, your thinking changes. That mind (Soul) and your Spirit starts working in agreement with God’s word. The mind of Christ will transform your thinking and will help open your book of destiny to find out God’s will for your life. (Rom 12:2) Summing it up, If you are born-again, you are destined to win in life. You are more than a conqueror. ( Rom 8:37) For the present, it may seem like your back is against the wall, but as you discover who you are in Christ and what belongs to you, you will start to see things differently. More to come.

Prayer—Father, thank you for speaking to me today. Thank you for showing me who I am in Christ and what belongs to me. I take my share in the land of milk and honey. God’s promises are mine. I am healed. I am prosperous. I am your sheep and I hear your voice. Show me your perfect will in this day—In Jesus name. Amen.

Want a new beginning? Join the family of God by accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior…https://atomic-temporary-188459402.wpcomstaging.com/2021/02/01/the-sinners-prayer/

Do you have a grasshopper mentality ?

And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. (Numbers 13:33)

The question to ask today is–Do you have a grasshopper mentality? To understand this, we must return to where this all began. The Jews were under servitude by the cruel Egyptians. During this crucial time, God raised a savior named Moses to lead them into the promised land.

One interesting note is that no one was sick when Moses led his people out of Egypt. They also had Silver and Gold with them. (Ps 105:37) What caused them to be blessed? They set aside a lamb for each household and ate of it. (Exodus 12:1-21) That Lamb was symbolic of Jesus-The Lamb of God.

As they ate the Lamb, it became the Passover meal. Jesus (The Lamb of God) says to eat his body and drink his blood. We know that as communion. So, when the Jews ate the kidneys of the Lamb, Kidney diseases were healed. When they ate the heart, Heart diseases were healed, etc. Jesus was the Second and last Adam, so Poverty was dealt with, hence the Silver and the Gold blessing.

So, as we read of this tremendous deliverance, they had to cross the desert. Why? We cannot avoid testing and trials. They are going to come whether we like it or not. What we must do is be patient and listen to God’s instructions. Moses wanted to take them out to the wilderness to celebrate the feast of the Lord. Interestingly, in the Spanish Bible, the word feast is “Fiesta,” which means Party.

God had revealed to his people his intention of blessing them with a land of milk and honey. (Exo 3:8) I can imagine the expression on their faces. Lands and homes are just for the taking. There was one problem. There were giants in the land. Despite God telling them that the land was theirs for the taking, they went by what they saw instead of receiving God’s promises.

As we see in Numbers 13:33, they called themselves grasshoppers instead of God’s giant killers. As you read this, You need to ask yourself one question. Do you have a grasshopper mentality, or are you God’s giant killer? Let’s start with the mind. The Bible says that you have the mind of Christ. The word Christ means the yoke-breaking, burden-removing power of God.

Are you having health issues? Is having money a big problem in your life? Are you having sleep issues and no peace? I have good news if you are born again yet experiencing the above issues. You have the mind of Christ. You have a genius that lives on the inside of you!

The problem is activating that mind to work for you. Such happened with the Corinthian church. These people loved the Lord and were being used in signs, wonders, and miracles, yet they faced carnality and worldly living issues in the church. ( 1 Cor 2:14)

When you activate the natural carnal being within you, you start to see yourself defeated, overcome by fear, and negative towards life. A carnal mind will make wrong and harmful decisions, and just because you are born again doesn’t mean you will not make bad decisions. How do we activate the mind of Christ within us? The word says to call those things that are not as though they were. (Rom 4:17)

Read and study the life of Abraham. He is defined in the Bible as the father of faith, but he was not perfect. He made some mistakes, and it took 25 years or more to get his miracle manifested. If we can learn from his mistakes and how not to repeat those errors, we can see a quicker manifestation of God’s miracles in our life.

Summing it up, you have a miracle in your mouth. You will see changes as you confess God’s word over your life situations. It’s time to stop having a grasshopper mentality and start thinking about killing your giants. Your land of milk and honey awaits you.

Note: If you are not born again, God has a plan and destiny for you. I invite you to pray and let him come into your heart. Click on the link below…. https://thechristiancornerorg.wordpress.com/2021/02/01/the-sinners-prayer/

No Pierdas tu gozo–Parte 2

¡Necesitamos fuerza! ¿Cómo obtenemos fuerza? ¡El gozo del Señor es nuestra fortaleza! Alégrate, canta y empieza a bailar. No te rindas.

Volvieron a estar juntos. ¡Dios bendiga!

Don’t lose your joy–Part 2

” A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.” (John 16:21)

In our previous study, we saw the importance of not losing your joy. We saw how easy it is to get discouraged when we hit that wall. Answered prayers is a wonderful thing, but what happens when you hit that wall and your prayers are not answered? It is very important to not let these faith revelations slip from you. We saw the example in the book of Hebrews ( Hebrews 2:1-3) We, also, saw how God warned us about neglecting so great a Salvation.

Salvation is very great. We tend to cheapen it by just waiting until we die to enjoy heaven. We saw the meaning of the word Salvation which is the Greek word Soteria, which includes Healing, Prosperity, etc. The truth of the matter is that we can enjoy heaven’s best on earth. (Deut 11:21) For more information on Salvation, refer to my previous study (1). God gets angry when we fail to believe his promises. The Jews found out the hard way when they did not believe God’s promise of the land of milk and honey. It is important not to repeat the mistakes of the past and learn from it.

Now, let’s look at how to get our breakthrough in the midst of our struggles. One important ingredient in the good fight is this– Faith! Faith and God’s word are powerful weapons. God’s word is— Yea and Amen. God is not a man that he should lie. If it’s a promise that is in his word, it will surely come to pass. In fact, Jesus did what he had to do thru the cross. He is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for us so that we may be able to get a revelation of his word. He has given us ALL things that pertain to life and godliness. All that you need is already given to you!

If that is so, why don’t we have it? Friend, God’s promises are not going to fall down from heaven to you. There is a fight of faith. Take for example, Salvation. Jesus  died for the world to purchase salvation for us. In fact, he is not willing that any perish but that all come to repentance. So, what is the problem? If it’s not God’s will that any should perish, why are some people dying and going to hell? The problem is the will. God respects the human will and you have to do your part. Your part is to receive his word. Receiving Jesus as your Savior opens the door to Salvation and it starts with your mouth. In fact, that is the pattern that God expects us to use in prayer. When we pray, we need to receive his word and use our mouth

When circumstances arises and start talking to us, we need to receive the word and talk back to it.  A good example is Mary. When she was visited by the angel Gabriel, she received the word. She did not argue with the angel nor allowed herself to be overcome by circumstances. She, just, received the word and became pregnant. (Luke 1:38) Have you prayed and prayed, only to see it going from bad to worse?  Have you confessed God’s promises until you are blue in the face, only to see zero results? May I submit to you if you have done all you know what to do, but nothing has improved—You may have pregnant faith. When you receive God’s word, it grows inside of you and when the promise is about to come to pass, there is travailing and birth pains. Breakthrough is about to take place!

See the picture above of the happy pregnant lady? That is what we are supposed to do, even in the midst of sorrows and pain. We need to PUSH. We need strength! How do we get strength? The joy of the Lord is our strength! Rejoice, sing and start to dance. See the promise as a fact and believe me, after a while, you will birth that promise. So, don’t give up. Fight the good fight of Faith. The devil has been defeated and with a song in your heart, your manifestation of God’s promises will surely come to pass. Before I finish, let me end with this—My son and his wife were separated for 4 years. Family members were telling me to give up. It got worse, but I held on.

After four years, they came back together. I had experienced “birth pains”, but after a while, I saw God’s promise manifest itself. Too many of us give up and say—Oh well, its must be God’s will for me. Don’t blame God, but look at yourself and see where you have missed it. Chances are that you may have pregnant faith! If you do, remember to PUSH—-The joy of the Lord is your strength! God bless!

Prayer–Thank you, Lord, for speaking to me. Help me to lay hold of the word. When circumstances and situations are against your promises, stir up my joy. Restore the joy of my salvation, so I can birth my breakthrough. Thank you, Father, for giving me the victory in advance–In Jesus name. Amen!

Amigo(a), acepte a Cristo hoy.

The Sinner’s prayer

Neighbor, life is but a vapor. When you die and come face- to- face to God, what will you do? Will you say that you have done good works and helped others? The word says our righteousness is as filthy rags. (Isa 64:6) Not that there is nothing wrong with good works. We should all do good works and help our fellow man, but that will not get you into heaven. Jesus came to earth to die in your place so you can have eternal life. Accepting Jesus is easy. Just invite him into your heart and watch how he can replace your sorrow with joy. (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6)

There is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. Friend, you don’t want to go to hell. There will not be any partying but darkness and gnashing of teeth. (Matt 8:12) I encourage you to choose life. Taste and see that the Lord is good. (PS 34:8) I will not promise you a life of ease and living problem-free, but this I promise you, if you are teachable and allow us to teach you the word, you will get the answers to all your problems and walk in victory. So, choose life today and start a new beginning.

Prayer to accept Jesus

Dear Lord, I am a sinner. Forgive me for my sins. Come into my heart and make me a new creation. Your death, burial, and resurrection have now become mine. I accept you as Lord. I believe God has raised you from the dead, and I am saved! Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. I am born again, and I will serve you for the rest of my life!

If you have prayed this prayer, please let us know. Go to the contact section and fill out the contact form on this blog so that we can rejoice and teach you how to live in victory. Welcome to the family, and remember that -YOU HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST!

Understanding ‘Soteria’: The Fullness of Salvation

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him (Heb 2:3)

Disappointed with Your Prayer Life? You Are Not Alone.

Many believers face deep frustration when prayers seem to go unanswered. I often hear people say, “Pastor Caleb, I’ve been praying, but things have actually gotten worse!” When breakthrough is delayed, it is easy to slide into unbelief, dry religious routines, or a fatalistic view of God’s sovereignty. While God is absolutely sovereign, He also respects human free will. Unfortunately, many end up blaming God for their troubles, assuming He is trying to teach them a lesson. In reality, they have fallen into a religious trap, blinding themselves to the truth that the devil is the ultimate thief of their peace (John 10:10).

There is nothing new under the sun. The Book of Hebrews warns us about the danger of letting revelation knowledge drift away (Hebrews 2:1-3).

Understanding True Salvation (Soteria)

Consider the Greek word for salvation: Soteria. It encompasses far more than just a ticket to heaven. Soteria means:

  • Physical healing and bodily wholeness
  • Divine protection
  • Deliverance
  • Financial provision

In ancient Middle Eastern culture, rejecting a gift was considered an act of war. Similarly, when we turn away from or refuse to believe God’s promises, we distance ourselves from Him and reject the fullness of the salvation He paid for.

Heaven on Earth vs. Religious Tradition

Look at the Old Testament: the Israelites refused to believe God’s promise regarding the Promised Land. Many modern believers mistakenly think the “land of milk and honey” represents Heaven. But think about it—the Promised Land had giants in it, and Heaven has no giants!

God was trying to give them a season of enjoying other men’s labors and reaping the abundance of the land. In fact, Deuteronomy 11:21 speaks of days being “as the days of heaven upon the earth.” Yet, their religious traditions and logical reasoning blocked them from receiving it.

Hear this clearly: Just because you are experiencing God’s absolute best and aren’t suffering does not mean you are out of His will. God wants you to enjoy the full benefits of your salvation right now!

Prepare in the Good Seasons

Just like nature, our spiritual lives have seasons. When you are walking in abundance and enjoying God’s best, that is not the time to slack off. That is the exact moment to train for the next test, trial, or temptation. Seek God even more fervently in the good times so He can prepare you and reveal things to come.

The Bottom Line: When things go from bad to worse, it’s not time to quit—it’s time to ramp up your praise. Stay deeply rooted. Do not let the enemy steal the Word that has been planted in your spirit. You are closer to your breakthrough than you think. Hold fast to the Word, and never lose your praise!
